Sochi and Moscow are connected by 24 daily flights during 2018 World Cup Russia

More than 24 daily flights from Sochi to Moscow are to be performed during the 2018 World Cup matches. They are operated by the following airline companies: „Aeroflot“, „Rossiya“, „S7 Airlines“, „Nordwind Airlines“, „UTair“, „Ural Airlines“, „Pobeda“, „Red Wings“, „Nordavia“, „NordStar“, „Yamal Airlines“ and „Yakutia“.

Also regular flights connect the southern city with other cities hosting the tournament. For example, airlines „Rossiya“, „Nordwind Airlines“, „Ural Airlines“, „Red Wings“, „Nordavia“ and „Yamal“ operate six flights to St.Petersburg. Six flights per week are scheduled to be performed to Kazan, four flights per week to Nizhny Novgorod, three times per week to Volgograd and once a week to Kaliningrad (on Saturdays). Daily flights are operated to Samara, Ekaterinburg and Rostov-on-Don.

In total, six World Cup matches are to be held in Sochi, the resort city – qualifying games of the group stage and two matches of the 1/8 and 1/4 finals. According to preliminary estimates of specialists, the daily passenger flow of the International Sochi airport during the competition can be 28-35 thousand people.
