Day 1, Thursday

Departure from Zagreb with direct flight by Croatia Airlines in 14:20 h. Arrival in St.Petersburg in 18:00 h.  Saint Petersburg, a city which is only over 300 years old but which has witnessed many historic events. Founded by Peter the Great in 1703 on the marshy lands, it turned into one of the world’s architectural masterpieces. The city still bears the odour of splendour of the Imperial capital, which you can sense during the transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Free time.

Day 2,  Friday

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we will start a panoramic view of St. Petersburg. We will see St.Isaac’s Cathedral, the Admiralty, Nevsky Square, the Winter Palace, the Aurora ship, Church of Spilled Blood, Kazan Cathedral and many other sights of St. Petersburg.  Visit Peter and Paul fortress  one of symbols of the city. It is on island and with its layout it follows the shape of the island. With the building of the fortress the history of North capital starts. The cathedral of Peter and Paul is here whose tower with angel is recognizable even from the distance. In cathedral the members of royal family Romanov were buried. The prison was there as well where Dostoyevsky and Gorki spent some time as well as other political prisoners. After panoramic tour, we can proceed to the rivers and canals of Petersburg. The rivers and canals create a unique picture that will defeat you with its beauty. By the number of rivers and canals it was the first city in Russia and one of the first in the world. Their banks are located in the most famous sights of the northern capital. We will also have some free time to explore, shop or enjoy one of the extra trips to Petersburg and the surrounding area. Day 3, Saturday

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day on a Pushkin tour with the visits to Catherine’s The Great palace with Amber room and park. Empress Catherine chose this place to build their summer residences. The place looks like a scene from a fairy tale – beautiful landscaped gardens, luxurious pavilions and lakes. The palace of Empress Catherine the Great is a large and elegant building with facades decorated in sumptuous Baroque style. It is surrounded by landscaped gardens, canals, pavilions and other impressive buildings. Return to St. Petersburg.  Overnight.

Day 4,  Sunday

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the famous State Hermitage Museum, whose collection includes masterpieces of famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Rembrandt, Rubens, Cezanne, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse, Gaugin …  Transfer at the airport. Flight to Zagreb at 19.00h
