Tour operator “Natalie Tours” does not pay compensation to tourists
The only payment was made on July, 4 in the amount of 800 thousand rubles, told the executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze to reporters on Wednesday, as reports “Interfax”.
“Now clients and travel agents of “Natalie Tours” are in a difficult situation, because the compensation process shall go, but according to the information, the clients have not been paid yet. According to M. Lomidze, it makes no sense to picket the operator’s office, but it is necessary to solve such issues in the legal boundaries. She said that there are about 200 tourists of “Natalie Tours” who are abroad now. “The last tourists shall return to Moscow this coming Sunday,” said M. Lomidze.
Tour operator “Natalie Tours” on July, 4 announced the cancellation of all sold outboud tours and stop sales due to financial problems. At the same time, the amount of both sold tours and airplane tickets until October 1 is 15 million USD. As experts claim, until the company operates, its customers cannot apply for payments to the insurer.
