DAY 1: MOSCOW – IRKUTSK

Flight from Moscow to Irkutsk. If you want to come earlier in Moscow, please contact us so we can organize a tour of the Russian capital, accommodation, excursions and everything you want to experience in one of the most dynamic and most world capitals.

DAY 2: IRKUTSK

Arrival in Irkutsk. Transfer to hotel and breakfast. City tour in the afternoon. Irkutsk is located in the southern part of Siberia, on the right bank of the Angara River. We will see the historic center of the city, a Museum of Decabrists, interesting house “wooden lace” which is also called “House of Europe” and the most beautiful streets in the city, including the famous Karl Marx Street.

DAY 3: IRKUTSK – BAIKAL – LISTVYANKA

Breakfast. Departure to Lake Baikal, the cleanest lake water in the world that you can drink directly from. Surreal scenes of landscapes and flora and fauna that you will not see anywhere else are just a few reasons why we set out on this adventure. We will visit the picturesque tourist town on Lake Baikal – Listvyanka, then Taljci Museum, one of the largest open air museums in Russia, where there are exposed interesting sights of Siberian architecture. Departure from Listvyanka to the tourist camp at the 80th km of Around Baikal railway by ship.  Accommodation at the tourist camp.

DAY 4, 5 and 6: BAIKAL

Staying at the tourist base.  Trips by motor boat around the Lake Baikal, excursion to Around Baikal railway, walk safari in taiga, fishing from the boat or enjoy some other activities in the surroundings of one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, which is often called the “Blue Siberian eye.” Blue, sapphire surface of the lake, calming green taiga, numerous islands, many species of wildlife, fresh air, magnificent mountains and beautiful sandy beaches will complete the unique experience of Russian nature.

DAY 7: BAIKAL – LISTVYANKA – IRKUTSK

Breakfast. In the afternoon departure by boat to Listvyanka. The central square of Listvyanka is a true colorful market. Local residents here sell interesting souvenirs and fish prepared in different ways. At the market you can try other local specialties or buy souvenirs for your loved ones. Transfer from Listvyanka to Irkutsk bus.

DAY 8: IRKUTSK

Breakfast. Free day in Irkutsk, the city where the numerous intellectuals and artists settled after the expulsion in 19th century. Therefore Irkutsk developed into an important cultural and artistic center and earned the nickname Paris of Siberia. Day in Irkutsk can be used for seeing lots of touristic attractions, such as Kazansky church with unusual blue domes, Znamensky Monastery, monument to the Emperor Alexander III. You can go shopping or take a relaxing walk down the city streets and spontaneously explore the hidden charms of Irkutsk.

DAY 9: IRKUTSK – MOSCOW

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight from Irkutsk to Moscow. If you still wish to enjoy Russia just a little bit more, it is possible to book extra days in Moscow and create more unforgettable memories and photographs of famous Moscow sights, walk through Old Arbat, visit the Red Square and Kremlin, and reveal the whole beauty of Russian capital city.
