DAY 1: Arrival in Moscow

Moscow is the capital of Russia with a population of more than 13 million people.  Countless cultural, historical and architectural sights, mystification and oddity of Russian spirit which wrap the whole city, exciting nightlife and many different tourist facilities make Moscow one of the most interesting and popular capitals of the world. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 2 – Sightseeing tour of MOSCOW

Breakfast. Panoramic city sightseeing tour. A tour of the Kremlin, the great fortress that represents spiritual – religious, social – political and historical – artistic center of Moscow. Within the walls of Kremlin you will find beautiful examples of Russian architecture that certainly will not leave you indifferent. After Kremlin, we will walk along the Old Arbat – the street filled with aristocratic spirit. Lunch in one of the local Russian restaurants. At the end of the program, we will go on a trip Moscow underground castles – awsome metro. You will learn many interesting facts about the construction of the Moscow Metro and see the incredibly constructed and decorated stations.

DAY 3 – Sergiev Posad

Breakfast. Full day Sergiev Posad tour. Visiting Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra, which is on the list of World Heritage and also known for its rich collection of icons. One of those many icons are the icons of famous iconographer Andrej Rubljov. Every day thousands of tourists and pilgrims from around the world visit the monastery, and during the Christian holiday season it becomes a major gathering place for the faithful. Lunch at a restaurant near the monastery.  Night train departure to Novgorod the Great.

DAY 4 – Novgorod the Great

St. Sophia Cathedral

Arrival to Novgorod, transfer to hotel and breakfast. The city of Novgorod is a city of great historical importance for Russia. It was an important cultural and economic center even in ancient Russia. It is a cherished centre of Russian culture, Orthodox spirituality, art and architecture and it was also an important link between Northern Europe and Central Asia. Tour of the most famous sights of Novgorod: Kremlin and the St.Sophia’s Cathedral. These sites are included in the List of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Free time.

DAY 5 –  Saint-Peterburg

 Breakfast. Departure to St. Petersburg (approx. 200 km). Arrival at the hotel. After check-in at the hotel, we will start the tour of Petersburg. Northern Russian capital, which is often called the Northern Venice, will enchant you with its beauty and centuries-old culture which radiates in every corner. Petersburg was founded by Tsar Peter the Great in 1703 year and was soon appointed the Russian capital. St. Petersburg was about 200 years old capital of Russia, and today it remains an important cultural and economic center of Russia, which attracts many tourists from all over the world.

DAY 6 – HERMITAGE MUSEUM

Hermitage

A tour of the State Hermitage, one of the world’s most famous museums. The museum holds more than 3 million works of art from different periods and different parts of the world. Exhibition includes masterpieces of famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Rubens, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse … A visit to the Peter and Paul fortress, the symbol of the city and its historical core. Inside the fortress was once the notorious prison for political enemies who were once considered to be Dostoyevsky and Gorky. Besides the fortress, there is a beautiful cathedral of Peter and Paul. And at the and followes  a cruise by Neva river and canals.

DAY 7 – Tsarskoe selo (Pushkin)

Ekaterina the Great Palace

Breakfast. A trip to the Imperial village which is also called Pushkin and visit Ekaterina the Great Palace (with Amber room) and park. Empress Catherine chose this place to build their summer residences. The place looks like a scene from a fairy tale – beautiful landscaped gardens, luxurious pavilions and lakes. Empress Catherine the Great’s palace is a large and elegant building with facades decorated in sumptuous Baroque style. It is surrounded by landscaped gardens, canals, pavilions and other buildings. We will walk through the park and visit the famous Amber room whose walls are lined with amber. Lunch at a local restaurant.

DAY 8 – Departure

Sheremetyevo airport

Breakfast. Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Travelling three large, incredibly interesting and beautiful capitals of Russia, full of beauty of nature and culture, many legends and interesting content is surely an unforgettable experience.

The folk show “Feel yourself russian!”, Nikolaevsky Palace

 Enjoy this unique opportunity of getting acquainted with the history and cultural traditions of Russia! Classical quartet is playing lovely melodies of the XVIII th century, two stunning ladies in crinolines and a handsome gentleman in a wig (ballet trio “Reverence”) are welcoming guests at the Gala stairs of the Palace. How nice to be a guest of the Grand Duke! The folk show itself is represented with 3 professional folk groups: “Peters Quartet” vocal quartet. Classical performance of folk songs, lyrical romances and Russian Orthodox hymns. “Maidan” is a Cossack song-and-dance group which skillfully reproduces on stage Cossack songs and dances in their original form. And the «Stars of St.Petersburg» is a dance group. Its repertoire covers lyrical dances of the Russian North, fiering dances of the Cossacks from the Don and Voronezh, dancing miniatures of the Urals and Siberia with their subtle humor. In the break guests are offered some fruit, canapes with red caviar, ham, Russian style Salami, cheese, vodka, champagne, red wine, mineral water, juice, beverages.
