Russian ministry of foreign affairs does not recommend to Russians to travel to Turkey


As mass media reported on Tuesday 24th November, Russian minister of foreign affairs Sergej Lavrov recommended.

“The threat of terrorism in Turkey is nothing smaller than in Egypt, so we do not recommend to go to Turkey in close future. Another thing that must be mentioned today are terroristic threats from the territory of Turkey not including what has happened today. There are many critical terroristic areas in Turkey. According to our estimates, the threats are not smaller than in Egypt” – said by minister of foreign affairs.

Earlier, Russian president Vladimir Putin said that the attack on Russian SU-24 above Syria was “backstab” and that this incident would have serious consequences for Russian-Turkish relationship.
