IHG® delivers more growth in Russia and the CIS with the signing of three hotels
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of the biggest world hotel companies, will make bigger profit in Russia and CIS with signing of three more hotels in region: Holiday Inn Express Naberezhye Chelny-, Holiday Inn Express Samara and Staybridge Suites Baku. Holiday Inn Express Naberezhnyew Chelny will be third hotel as a part of multy development of franchise contract signed in March 2013 with regional hotel chain (RHC), part of portfolio of company Viy Management (VIYM), for development of 15 new hotels in Russia till 2019.Newly built object with 145 rooms should be opened in second quarter of 2015, and it is not only first IHG hotel built in Naberezhnye Chelny, but also first international hotel brand in local area.
Also, new building of 115 rooms Staybridge Suites Hotel will be the first brand hotel in Baku, Azerbaijan. According to contract on franchise with Asnaf Alkon Group, Staybridge Suites Baku will be situated in the area where it is obvious that there is big demand for prolonged stay due to development of energy from neighbour countries.
Holiday Inn Express Samara will work under franchise contract with Rosa Mira Group, first time with the owner of IHG. Hotel with 145 rooms will be built after conversion from office , and it should be opened at the end of 2015.Hotel will have central place in town Samara which will be host town for World football championship FIFA 2018.
IHG firmly holds the side of increase and CIS with the plans to have 100 hotels opened till 2020.This spread will be first of all led by IHG Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express marks in basic and middle towns in whole region.
