Ascent Travel cancels trips to Croatia and Montenegro on 20th and 21st July

Yesterday, on 17th July, few Russian agencies stated that Ascent Travel cancels trips to Croatia and Montenegro on 20th and 21st July and that they received from agency Ascent the form for refund of funds. As we find out, all planned trios from Saint Petersburg, Kazani, Nižneg Novgoroda and Ekaterinburg are fully cancelled. Also from Moscow big number of trips is cancelled.

Ascent’s director Jevgenij Sudbin has promised that the funds for cancelled trips will be refunded in time period of 10 days. When talking about trips that are planned for later dates, for now on , nothing is known for sure. According to Jevgenij Sudbin the possibility of total cancellation for mentioned destinations is considered.

Chairman of the Board of directors of tourist agencies, Boris Burikin has stated that planned flights have been reorganised, but for now on he can’t say what the new program will be.

Jevgenij Sudbin and Boris Burikin recommend that the tourists who are currently on holiday organised by Ascent Travel, have no reason for worry and that they will come back to Russia on time.

According to unofficial information Ascent Travel has really announced bankruptcy, and not only just cancelled trips to mentioned destinations.
