Accor and Patero Development will build another hotel complex in Moscow
Accor, leading world hotel operator, announces that entered in long term agreement with one of biggest Russian companies for development PATERO Development for managing of hotel complexes as a part of multi functional centre which will be built nearby railway station Kievsky, in the centre of Moscow.
By this agreement Russian capital will get additional 700 rooms, by which it is confirmed the loyalty of Group to Russia, when Accor celebrates its 21st anniversary on Russian market. Group currently has 5 hotels in Moscow and net of 18 hotels in Russia and CIS countries.
“Russia is one of the most important growths for Accor”, says Alexis Delaroff, main operator director, Accor Russia and CIS. ”Opening of this complex in Moscow will give very important modern inventory to Russian capital .Moscow is somehow passage in country for business travellers, and we are dedicated to our users by offering to them more choice with quality accommodation in region”, he added.
Russia has important growth potential for Accor which leans on strong brand of portfolio, strong distribution nets and real operative excellence. Area has got strong economical growth in last ten years, with annual growth of GDP above average. Moscow-Russian capital, is one of the biggest world megapolis and home of biggest headquarters of multinational companies for region.
“We see Russia,CIS countries and Georgia as huge chance for spreading, according to the area of low representation of international hotel brands, bigger and bigger interest of foreign investors, as well as high tourist potentials “, said Alexis Delaroff. He pointed out that this step in Accor’s development confirms the aim, and that is to have 50 hotels in region till the end of 2016, with the potential of doubling that number in next years.
Novotel Kievskaya (200 rooms), Ibis Kievskaya (350 rooms) and Adagio Kievskaya (150 apartments) will be the part of complex of mixed purpose , situated near railway station Kievsky, which connects Vnukovo Airport (third biggest airport in Moscow, with the rise of passengers of over 15% in last year) with the centre in Moscow near Russian Ministry of foreign affairs , as well as dynamic financial quarter – Moscow city. Opening of this complex is predicted for end of year 2015.
This is not first cooperation project of Accor and Patero Development. Till the end of year 2013 hotel complex of the same kind will be opened for pubic in street Bakhrushina , near railway station Paveletsky in the centre of Moscow. Complex includes: Mercure (160 rooms), Ibis (190 rooms) and Adagio (100 apartments)- first Apart-hotel built in Moscow.
